KINGDOM CITY HISTORY
While discussing the possibility of a Christian record label with its roots firmly planted in the Kansas City area, the friends built a stronger bond with one another as God allowed their minds to be on one accord. But as with anything that is in God’s will, fleshly doubt eventually ensued. This caused Michael to question the endeavor and whether or not it should be pursued due to he, himself not being a Christian artist or being familiar with the Christian record business.

While pondering on the eventual record company, Michael continued to aid his close friend Andre Roberson (Dre Sr.) with his first album release, “Living Sacrifice: The Soundtrack 4 Christian Livin’”. After seeing the impact this album had on the lives of young people, he decided to pursue what Christ had already set in motion and ventured out to create Kingdom City Records.

Since Kansas City was ripe for harvest and bursting with talented people whom desired an intimate relationship with Christ, Michael enlisted the help of Joseph "1-Lyfe" Chavez, Wendell "Deacon" Cole, and Andre "Dre Sr." Roberson to firmly plant Kingdom City Records as a legitimate Christian label in the Kansas City area. With the sole desire of seeing lives changed and under one call, "MISSIONARY MINDED MUZIKC (M3)", Kingdom City Records and those involved continue to pursue holiness while exhorting both the believer and nonbeliever to the same belief, that JESUS CHRIST IS LORD.

DOCTRINE
The Bible – The Bible is God’s love letter to all of humanity. It is comprised of the Old Testament and New Testament, which are completely inspired by God himself, and must be regarded as His infallible word to mankind. Through literary interpretation, the message of Salvation is clearly seen from through the Bibles entirety, from Genesis to Revelation. The Bible is therefore, the unmediated, supreme, and final authority of faith and living for every believer. (2 Tim. 3:15-17, 1 Thess. 2:13 and 2 Peter 1:21)

The God Head - There is only one eternal, supreme and perfect God. Within our one true God exists three eternally Co-equal and distinct persons, who are: The Father , The Son, and The Holy Spirit. These three persons must be revered as the One true God. (Deut. 6:4, Matt. 28:19, John 17:11 and John 17:21)

The God Man – Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, as well as the second Person of the Trinity. Jesus took upon himself human flesh, through the miraculous conception of the Holy Spirit in the womb of the Virgin Mary (Isaiah 7:14, fulfilled Matt. 1:23). He who was 100% true God, became 100% true man, therefore eternally uniting the human nature and the true God nature in one person. Jesus lived a sinless and perfect life (Hebrews 7:6, and 1 Peter 2:22), performed many miracles (Acts 2:22 and Acts 10:38), was crucified on a Roman Cross as the atoning sacrifice for mankind’s sins (1 Cor. 15:3 and 2

Cor. 5:21), rose in a physical form from the dead (Matt. 28:6, Luke 24:39, and 1 Cor. 15:4), and ascended into Heaven and is exalted at the Right Hand of the Father (Acts 1:9, Acts 1:11, Acts 2:33, Phil. 2:9-11, Heb. 1:3), where he currently serves as our: High Pries, King, and sole Mediator. We anticipate his return to the earth as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, which will be physically and visibly seen. He will judge every human who has ever lived.

God the Holy Spirit – The Holy Spirit is the eternal third person of the Triune God. He acts as the Regenerator and sanctifier of the redeemed, the Bestower of all spiritual fruit and gifts, and the abiding advocate who empowers believers for godly living and service. (John 14:16-17, 2 Cor. 2:13-14 and Matt. 28:19-20)

Sin – Sin came into the world through the fall of one man, Adam. Being made in the image of God, (i.e., finitely the communicable attributes of God including: rationality, personality, spirituality, and morality), Adam, fell into temptation and since his fall, every human is completely corrupt and separated from God. Because of mans’ descent into sin, through relationship to Adam, and individual choice, man is condemned by God. A desperate need of humanity is forgiveness of sins and consequent restoration of fellowship with God who is Holy; yet mankind remains totally unable to atone for and restore themselves. (Gen.1:26-27, Gen. 2:17, Gen. 3:6, and Romans 5:12-19)
Heaven/Hell – Those who have received the free gift of salvation will live forever in the fellowship and Kingdom of God (Heaven). Eternal, conscious punishment apart from fellowship and Kingdom of God (hell) is the ultimate destiny of unredeemed humanity, Satan, and his entire angelic host. (2 Peter 3:13, Matt. 25:46, Rev. 21)

The Bride of Christ - The Christian Church, which is the body and bride of Christ, is composed of all persons who through saving faith in Jesus Christ have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Corporately and individually, it’s members strive to worship, serve, and glorify God through prayer and praise, diligent study and application of the Scriptures, evangelism, sanctified living, good works, and observance of the rites of baptism, and the Lord Supper. The ultimate mission of the Church the discipleship of all nations – not only the saving of souls (which is primary) but also bringing the gospel to bear on every aspect of life and thought - until the Lord returns. (Matt. 28:19-20, 1 Cor. 12:13 and Eph. 4:11-16)
